Accessibility and Safety
When it comes to mobility for people with disabilities, safety and accessibility aren’t just details—they’re essential. With this in mind, we developed a custom lighting system for low-floor vehicles, making every entry and exit safer and more comfortable, day and night.
The Problem: Poor Lighting, Too Many Risks
Accessible vehicles are designed to provide freedom and independence, but often, their lighting falls short of users’ real needs.
✅ Shadows on the ramp – Insufficient lighting can make it difficult and even risky to use the ramp in low-light conditions.
✅ Compromised safety – Poor illumination increases the risk of tripping, hesitation, and potentially dangerous situations.
Our challenge? To solve these issues with a tailored, effective, and seamlessly integrated solution.
Our Solution: Light Where It’s Needed, When It’s Needed
We worked closely with the client to develop a lighting system that truly makes a difference. The result? A combination of a standard product from our catalog and a custom-made solution designed specifically for this vehicle.
💡 Side lighting – We installed two LED strips on both sides of the ramp, mounted on a discreet support that blends seamlessly with the vehicle’s design.
💡 Overhead illumination – Under the tailgate, which acts as a ceiling when opened, we integrated two LED spotlights with focusing lenses (Spot OFOlux ref.1020), ensuring the light follows every movement and perfectly illuminates the descent.

From Concept to Reality: How We Built a Custom Solution
🔍 Step 1: Understanding the needs – The first step was discussing the project with the company’s Research & Development team to fully grasp the specific requirements and real challenges users face.
🛠️ Step 2: Co-designing with the client – Instead of opting for a one-size-fits-all solution, we carefully studied the best way to integrate the system into the vehicle without compromising aesthetics or functionality.
🚀 Step 3: Installation and testing – Once installed, the system was thoroughly tested to ensure maximum efficiency. The result? A lighting solution that genuinely improves the user experience.
More Light, More Safety, More Freedom
This project is a clear example of how small innovations can make a big difference in everyday life. For us, every custom solution is a step forward toward safer, more inclusive mobility that truly meets people’s needs.
