The Challenge: Rethinking Cooling Trailer Illumination
Typically, lighting inside refrigerated trailers is mounted in the center and consists of basic surfaced-mounted lamps. While functional, this conventional setup did not meet our client’s specific needs. They wanted:
- A side-mounted lighting system to free up central space.
- An integrated cable channel to guide wires, sensors, and probes.
- A fully integrated aluminum profile to house lighting, sensors, and cabling in a compact design.
The Solution: A Fully Integrated Side-Mounted System
We engineered a custom aluminum profile that runs from the back of the trailer to the entrance, combining multiple functions in one:
- Seamless integration – The lighting system is housed within the aluminum profile for a clean, modern look.
- Multi-functional design – The profile accommodates lighting, sensors, and cabling, keeping everything concealed.
- Optimized space usage – Side placement ensures more usable space in the center of the trailer.
- Durability & efficiency – Built with high-quality materials, the system withstands extreme temperatures and provides uniform illumination throughout the trailer.
Engineering the Perfect Fit
To bring this concept to life, we meticulously designed the shape of the aluminum profile and the integrated lighting fixture. The result is a discreet yet highly effective solution that enhances both visibility and functionality within the trailer.
